Undeserving

Countless times this week God has granted me grace. Every time I did NOT deserve it.

I would wait until the last minute to study for a quiz but God would make a way for me to have extra time to study (which saved me-TWICE).

He's just been so on my heart; finally.

I feel like I'm actually starting to act on the knowledge of His grace. I feel like I'm actually starting to live in His love-letting it effect my actions, decisions, and thoughts.

I'm a stresser...but God has been working on me about that. He's been teaching me to let Him control things. Thank goodness because I can really mess things up.

Psalm 148
1 Praise 1the Lord!
Praise the Lord from the heavens;
Praise Him in the heights!
2 Praise Him, all His angels;
Praise Him, all His hosts!
3 Praise Him, sun and moon;
Praise Him, all you stars of light!
4 Praise Him, ayou heavens of heavens,
And byou waters above the heavens!
5 Let them praise the name of the Lord,
For cHe commanded and they were created.
6 dHe also established them forever and ever;
He made a decree which shall not pass away.
7 Praise the Lord from the earth,
eYou great sea creatures and all the depths;
8 Fire and hail, snow and clouds;
Stormy wind, fulfilling His word;
9 fMountains and all hills;
Fruitful trees and all cedars;
10 Beasts and all cattle;
Creeping things and flying fowl;
11 Kings of the earth and all peoples;
Princes and all judges of the earth;
12 Both young men and maidens;
Old men and children.
13 Let them praise the name of the Lord,
For His gname alone is exalted;
His glory is above the earth and heaven.
14 And He hhas exalted the 2horn of His people,
The praise of iall His saints—
Of the children of Israel,
jA people near to Him.
3Praise the Lord!
PSALM 149
1 Praise 1the Lord!
aSing to the Lord a new song,
And His praise in the assembly of saints.
2 Let Israel rejoice in their Maker;
Let the children of Zion be joyful in their bKing.
3 cLet them praise His name with the dance;
Let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp.
4 For dthe Lord takes pleasure in His people;
eHe will beautify the 2humble with salvation.
5 Let the saints be joyful in glory;
Let them fsing aloud on their beds.
6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth,
And ga two-edged sword in their hand,
7 To execute vengeance on the nations,
And punishments on the peoples;
8 To bind their kings with chains,
And their nobles with fetters of iron;
9 hTo execute on them the written judgment—
iThis honor have all His saints.
3Praise the Lord!
PSALM 150
1 Praise a 1the Lord!
Praise God in His sanctuary;
Praise Him in His mighty 2firmament!
2 Praise Him for His mighty acts;
Praise Him according to His excellent bgreatness!
3 Praise Him with the sound of the 3trumpet;
Praise Him with the lute and harp!
4 Praise Him with the timbrel and dance;
Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes!
5 Praise Him with loud cymbals;
Praise Him with clashing cymbals!
6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
4Praise the Lord!

Life, please don't kick in....

Oh how He loves us.

I just had an incredible night. God is so high.

I'm tired, I'm busy, and I just don't have the free time I want.

When Heaven meets earth like a sloppy, wet kiss.

In all that I say and do I should bring glory to Your name. You reminded me of that three times tonight. How do I think I could ever do anything good on my own? All I have you have given me and all I will ever do You will do through me.

How humble Your love. You Son came as the embodiment of love into this earth. He was humbled to such a lowly level and died such a wretched death. You could not even look upon Him. He was innocent; His hands were clean. Yet He suffered beyond what we can fathom. For what? For you and for me. For every person who loves God and for every person who hates His name.

I'm praying for a burden. I'm praying that I will feel such a deep sorrow for those who live without hope that I will be brought to action due to a reaction to God's grace and mercy. I want to be a light for God but with that I must obey Him.

I'm also praying that this passion will not fade from tonight. That life won't kick in.

I must decrease You must increase Lord
I'll bow down and You will be adored
I lift you high I bow down low
How high can You be?
How low can I go?

I want You.

Boy, it's been a while...

2 Then He opened His mouth and btaught them, saying:
3 “Blessed care the poor in spirit,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 dBlessed are those who mourn,
For they shall be comforted.
5 eBlessed are the meek,
For fthey shall inherit the 1earth.
6 Blessed are those who ghunger and thirst for righteousness,
hFor they shall be filled.
7 Blessed are the merciful,
iFor they shall obtain mercy.
8 jBlessed are the pure in heart,
For kthey shall see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers,
For they shall be called sons of God.
10 lBlessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 m“Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of nevil against you falsely for My sake. 12 oRejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for pso they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

"Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying..."
That's my favorite part.
What an honor and huge responsibility teaching is. You are imparting your knowledge on someone else.

What if you're wrong?

The greatest teacher of all is never wrong. That's awesome. Everything He said was right. Everything. He used his knowledge to combat sin. So the old saying "knowledge is power" is profound in all its meaning. Christ had a knowledge of the father and of the Word. Christ became the embodiment-the living, breathing, eating WORD of God. He was the ultimate example of CHRISTian living. He not only SPOKE words to teach others but he LIVED in such a way to be the greatest example for us to follow. He was the BEST teacher-he lived what He taught.
Christ mourned just as a man, He was meek and humble, He spent time talking with the Lord to receive a deeper relationship with the Father, He was merciful in His ways, He was PURE and RIGHTEOUS, He was a peacemaker, and He was persecuted for Righteousness sake. He knew His reward was not of this earth and looked to His Father for ultimate satisfaction in His death.

Awesome. What a God we serve.

Eclipse Tonight

http://www.skyandtelescope.com/observing/home/15357796.html

The above site has all the information on tonight's Lunar Eclipse.

I'm pretty excited about this, I've never seen one of these puppies.

"Earth’s shadow will totally engulf the Moon from 10:00 to 10:52 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, or 7:00 to 7:52 p.m. Pacific Standard Time, as shown at lower right. The partial phases of the eclipse last for about an hour and a quarter before and after totality."

So be on the lookout!

"we’re all looking together."

Patience? No thanks.

Isa 40:31 But those who wait on the Lord will find new strength. They will fly high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

Sometimes, I don't like to wait. Sometimes. But when the Lord makes you wait, it is a humbling experience. Waiting by yourself can cause anxiety, but waiting in the Lord brings about refreshment and strength.

Waiting and depending on Me vs. waiting and depending on God, the choice is easy.

Wait..........listen............learn.
